Family fun at Drayton Manor Park

From the bottom of the big wheel at Drayton Manor Park, I glanced over at the fast rollercoaster. There, on the front seat, was a familiar little face. Suddenly, they were off. Dinosaurs at Eastnor Castle

Rex the baby Tyrannosaurus was off his lead, surrounded by children when it happened. Nobody could know for sure what triggered it. Something in the crowd perhaps, a sudden noise. A baby crying. And suddenly, he was off. Running towards the kids, roaring like a crazy beast. They scattered everywhere, screaming for mercy. Wars of the Roses at Warwick Castle

We spent the weekend at Warwick Castle, which is rapidly becoming one of our favourite places. We were there to watch the Wars of the Roses show and stay in a Knight’s Village Lodge. After an amazing weekend at the Alton Towers theme park and resort, I realised there were a few tips that could have made our stay better. We were among the first people to try out the Cbeebies hotel. We also put both Cbeebies Land within Alton Towers theme park and the Splash Landings waterpark through their paces.
