This year has once again been a bit of a whirlwind. We’ve gained a cat and a baby and sadly lost a dog. I’ve made the big jump to being freelance and our girls are becoming the firmest of friends.
Libby has changed so much in the past 12 months, and of course Lia has grown to be unrecognisable from the rather large baby that appeared in May.
Libby also had her eye operation in June, so you may notice from looking back at old photos on the blog that her eyes are now dramatically better, certainly good enough to not need another operation.
So, what of 2015? I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions, but at the same time I do think it’s healthy to have goals and aims for the year.
So the first one, which will be starting in January is based around health and fitness. Like most people, I need to get out of the Christmas induced over-indulging, so I’ve committed to a January fitness streak. I will be exercising every day in January, along with a few friends and bloggers. Do let me know if you’d like to join in. I will also be eating more healthily and drinking less, but this will have to wait until after our holiday.
In terms of work, I want to do more of my copywriting work, which I love doing. I aim to vary the sort of work I do and build my client base even further to widen my experience.
I am also loving my blogging at the moment since moving over to my self hosted website. My blog year will be starting with a bang, as we are lucky enough to be #BluestoneBloggers, visiting the Bluestone resort in Pembrokeshire for a four night stay starting on Monday.
I have also recently set up my Facebook page and I hope that there will be further developments associated with my blog as the year goes on. I am certainly enjoying it more than ever and hope to do more with it.
So all that is left now is to say Happy New year, thanks for putting up with my ramblings in 2014 and I hope that you will be back to read more of my inane drivel in 2015.
