You know you’re a jack of all trades when…

That phrase, “Jack of all trades.”  What does it really mean? Do you ever wonder if that’s you? If you answer yes to more than half of these you probably already know the answer.  1. You’ve always envied those people who were good at something. But not quite good, or doing it to an acceptable standard. Or even forging a successful career in something. Really good, award winning, gold medal winning good.  2. You wish you’d listened when your parents tried to tell you that you couldn’t do it all.  3. You wish you could take your own advice right…

Inspirational Parents #2

The second in my Inspirational Parents series features a lady called Sally who is a real inspiration to me. She is a mum who founded a highly successful online business – something I desperately hope to emulate.  Sally’s website specialises in beautiful, stylish things for mum, baby and the home. Nonetheless, the bathroom is now well on its way to looking fabulous. It seems the few days of being one of the great unwashed will…

Ahem. Testing, testing 1, 2, 1… oh, there you are. Shh, they don’t know I’m here. It’s me. No I’m over here. No, not in the tree, in the grass. Ok, I’ll show myself for a second.  There. It’s me, Bubbles. You ain’t seen me, right?  Anyway, I’ve got to be quick before they catch me. I know you read all about me when the writer told you that one more family member had arrived.  Yes, yes I know you thought they were going to say they’d decided to have a baby but no, just little old me.  So when I moved in…
