Make a peacock easy craft for toddlers

We’re loving working with Bostik this year to create various craft items based on a theme each month. We’ve already made a Valentine’s card with matching envelope and an Easter table decoration. The theme this month is birds and flying objects. I decided to make an easy peacock. I wanted to find something that was nice and simple for the girls to get involved with, but something that they would be proud of. Craft for toddlers – when you forgot to buy a card

I know it’s difficult to believe, but sometimes I’m a bit disorganised. I know, you wouldn’t believe it from my polished exterior. Children’s art supplies are a delicate subject when you have two children with a slight age gap. Felt tip pens have always caused arguments in our house. Libby is old enough to use them and loves to draw and colour in. Lia on the other hand, just can’t quite master them. We had an incident a few months back where the end of the pen ended up in her mouth, which made her sick. And even on a good day, more pen ends up on her than on the paper. And don’t get me started on the mess she makes…

Easy crafts: Valentine’s day card and matching envelope

Valentine’s day in our house has a history of being disastrous. In fact our first ever Valentine’s day together involved going to watch England play Wales in the Six Nations Rugby. He’s Welsh, I’m English and I think that probably says it all. Since then Valentine’s has deteriorated to such an extent that the year before last he accidentally bought me a birthday card. Since then we’ve given up completely. Making a Valentine’s card I’m not under any illusions about me getting anything for Valentine’s day this year. But at the very least, I thought it would be nice to make…
