My 100th blog post… challenge set

For my 100th blog post, I wanted to do something a bit different and I’d like other people to join in. I haven’t done a linky post for this month, so if you’d like to take my centennial challenge, I’d love to see your take on it so please do link up below.  Here’s how it works. Take my 10 headings and change the 10 words in each section to words of your own. Sentences, lists, jokes, however you want to do it, 10 words only per section. Then pop a link at the bottom, have a read of some…

Gum health through the generations

Before launching into the purpose of this post I feel it right to tell you that I very nearly made a disastrous start to it. Making new friends and finding new blogs to read #2

Last month, I put a link-up post on my blog for newbies like me to find new blogs to read and hopefully make some friends and pick up new followers along the way. That’s why I’ve decided to see if anyone is interested in a bit of a no-rules linky to allow all of us newbies to hold hands and support each other.  I’d love it if you could leave a link to your blog and pop along to visit a couple…

Learning about different cultures

For as long as I can remember, my dad’s family have had Japanese students staying with them for a couple of weeks every summer. Last year, it was a real honour and a sign that I had become a proper grown-up when we were asked to host some students as well. The students are only 14 or 15 years old and they spend a few days over in the UK with host families to improve their English and learn a bit more about our culture. Despite being so young, they are immaculately behaved and a pleasure to have around the house.…
