Konfidence Golden Bucket Sand Art Competition 2017

I am a firm believer that swimming is one of the most important skills a child can learn. It allows them to be safe and confident around water and offers a lifetime of health benefits. This year we are Konfidence swimologists and I’m delighted to support their Golden Bucket Sand Art Competition.

Get ready for a summer of swimming with Konfidence

Golden Bucket Sand Art Competition

This is a competition run by Konfidence in association with Trunki and Mark Warner. It’s in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance and encourages children to get creative at the beach this summer. All children aged under eight years old can take part. They simply have to make something out of sand and take a photo.

The sand sculpture can be anything from a sand castle to an elaborate creation. My girls decided to make a sand castle and turn themselves into a princess and a mermaid. The competition runs for 12 weeks and started on 1st July. It ends on 30th September and there are some brilliant prizes up for grabs.

The prizes

Konfidence really do go all out with the prizes for this competition. There are first, second and third prizes, which are all listed on their website. The overall winner receives this amazing bundles:

  • Gold bucket and spade trophy
  • £200 voucher to spend on Konfidence products
  • £200 off a Mark Warner holiday
  • Trunki ride-on suitcase

How to Enter

To enter, just take a photo of your child’s sand art and upload it to the KonfidenceUK Facebook page. You need to give your entry a creative title and use the hashtag #GoldenBucket. For full details, terms and conditions head to the Konfidence website.

About Konfidence

Konfidence make a wide range of products that appeal to the whole family. My girls wear Konfidence wetsuits every year. The Konfidence swim jackets are the perfect swimming aid as they provide buoyancy without restricting movement. And our whole family love the Neoprene inflatable balls – especially Bubbles!

Hi Nat, I hope your girls had a mug of hot chocolate after that photo, they look well wrapped up! The Golden Bucket Sand Art competition sounds like fun. I like the way your girls have made their sandcastle look like ruins, very realistic! A couple of our dogs are ball mad, but it’s the little dog that ‘kills’ them. She has a definite case of small dog syndrome!

Ahh don’t worry, they had fish and chips afterwards to warm up! It’s funny how some dogs are more into a ball than others, my older dog only plays with one once every few months. He did have a bit of a run around after one at the beach.

I agree swimming is such an important skill. What a lovely campaign – my boys love making holes in the beach rather than building anything mind.

Ooh I remember doing that as a kid too. I bet they could make a great 3D sand sculpture in a hole!

What a great competition! I love making sand sculptures, I have been perfecting building a train out of sand for years now! Ha ha! Your girls look like they are having a lot of fun. 🙂 x

Ooh I like the sound of the sand train, maybe we’ll try that next year!
