Win a family day out at National Sea Life Centre Birmingham!

Earlier this year, we were lucky enough to be invited to review the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham. Following that, we were chosen as blogger ambassadors for 2016. We are huge fans of the National Sea Life Centre, and made many trips there last year for some fabulous days out.

But our love of the National Sea Life Centre goes back even further than that. When I first had Libby, I had always intended to go back to my job in Birmingham. So when she was just 3 months old, off I went back to work. This really wasn’t the right option for me, I struggled with the fact that I was hardly seeing her due to the long commute each day. Luckily, my husband was often in a position to bring Libby into Birmingham to meet me when I finished work.

Back then, we used to head to the Sea Life Centre with a tiny baby and spend a lovely couple of hours looking around, with her marvelling at all the brightly coloured fish. As she got older, different things started to appeal to Libby about the National Sea Life Centre. The special events, treasure hunts to find her favourite television characters, meeting the Octonauts and even seeing Father Christmas.

Libby and Lia are totally different characters and they enjoy different things. I’m currently writing this whilst watching them both in soft play – going in different directions, playing with different children and getting up to different mischief. But the Sea Life Centre always keeps both of them entertained for a good few hours, however regularly we go.
