JoJo Maman Bébé is popular because of its great quality clothes for babies, toddlers and little people. But anyone who loves splashing out on their little ones will know it’s an expensive business, especially as they grow so quickly. Luckily, if you’re feeling generous and willing to do your bit for charity, you can earn some Free JoJo Maman Bébé Vouchers in return.
From a Mother to Another
In 2015, JoJo Maman Bébé launched the From a Mother to Another initiative to encourage recycling of good quality used children’s clothing. Items can be donated to any of their stores in the UK and Ireland. They will then be sorted and passed to one of the partner charities for distribution.
This year’s initiative will see clothing distributed to vulnerable families within the UK by the Trussell Trust, who run food banks to help those most in need. Clothing will also be distributed to children living in refugee camps in Lebanon who have been displaced from Syria. All costs will be covered by JoJo.
How to help
- Put together two full outfits (or more) from good quality children’s clothing in ages 0 to 6 years.
- Wash them and make sure that you would be happy to dress your own child in the outfit you’ve put together.
- Put each outfit into a see-through plastic bag, labelled with the size, sex and season.
- Deliver it to a JoJo store by 5th March.
- Collect your £5 gift voucher in return. This is valid on a £35 minimum spend only.
How else can I help?
If you don’t have a local JoJo store (like me), please do let your friends know about the initiative. The more outfits that are donated, the more people JoJo will be able to help. Please feel free to share this blog post on social media, create your own or just shout it from the rooftops.
Children at the refugee camps on the Lebanese border left war-torn Syria in a hurry with only the clothes they could carry. They have long outgrown these clothes, which are now in rags. Children are now dying from the cold and this is a free and practical way to help.
Please note, I was asked by JoJo Maman Bébé to post the details of this campaign. I have in no way been compensated to do so, but I think the campaign is a great idea and I hope you will join me in taking part and sharing it far and wide.
