Our Thursday Photo #89

Well, this week hasn’t been our finest hour. My husband still has a long road to recovery ahead of him and I’m quite frankly exhausted. I wrote recently about the fact that I’m not embracing positivity, I’m satisfied to just let things be and remember that there is always an end to it. I’ve had some fun blogging this week, I was proud that Mumsnet featured me on their front page yesterday, with my post about not judging other mums.  I’ve also worked on an exciting project with Drayton Manor which will be revealed soon I’m sure. We are now well and truly back into the swing of toddler term time. Libby is at nursery every afternoon except for Mondays. This means that she’s with us in the mornings and it has been lovely to have that extra time with her. I have to admit it hasn’t been going quite to plan, but that’s predominantly because everything has conspired against me. I’m hoping this won’t always be the case. So, here’s the schedule: Monday No freelance work on a Monday or Tuesday Schedule posts for my blog Catch up with any admin that I haven’t got done the previous week Work on my palm oil free website Tuesday Schedule posts for both Plutonium Sox and…

The rabbit who wants to fall asleep: Win!

Bedtime in our house is chaos. It’s everything the experts say it shouldn’t be. The girls have a nice, sedate story downstairs with their dad while I’m working. Then they both come bombing up the stairs giggling and it’s all down hill from there. Luckily, Libby is somewhat of a pro when it comes to sleeping. She started to sleep through the night at 8 weeks old and however chaotic bedtime is, she’s usually asleep within a couple of minutes of her head hitting the pillow. Lia is a different kettle of fish. Until she was 7 months old, she…
