This week, I’ve decided that I’m going to break the habit of a lifetime and actually buy some Christmas presents in November. I’ve never really had much awareness of the deals available on Black Friday in previous years. I now realise that the discounts make it financially preferably to be organised and do my shopping tomorrow. Being organised: Black Friday deals

Every summer, I decide around August time that this year, I’ll be ready for Christmas. By the time November comes around, I have usually realised that my decision was absolute nonsense. If I’m honest, this year is worse than ever. Last Christmas, I finished making my Christmas cakes sometime around midnight on Christmas Eve. Win a family pass to a deep sea world

A little while ago, we were lucky enough to be chosen as ambassadors for the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham. We had a fabulous guided tour just a few weeks ago when Lia fell in love with the penguins in her own inimitable manner. They also had the fabulous Lego attraction there, which was great for little ones. They had the opportunity to follow a lego treasure hunt, with giant lego pieces hidden in some of the tanks. A weekend in London

Every year, we make the effort to go down to London at least once. This is partly due to the fact that my sister is living down there, and partly down to the fact that we just love the city.  The last time we went, we only stayed for the day.
