Streaking into January

To say I’ve overindulged during the festive period would be an understatement. I don’t even dare stand on the scales because I’m worried about what I’m going to see.  I know that the natural solution would be to go on a diet, but I’m just no good at those. I usually enter myself into a race at around this time of year, not to race in now but one that doesn’t take place until the summer. Things aren’t as bad as I thought…

Over the summer, I was doing really well at getting back my fitness levels after having Lia. I didn’t have much on work-wise so I had some time to sort myself out and get back to my normal weight. Unfortunately the last few weeks, things have gone downhill rather rapidly.  I am lucky enough to have a friend who drags me out for a run every week, whatever the weather.
