A September resolution about priorities

Do you make new year’s resolutions? I’ve always been terrible at them. By 1st January, I always have a bit of a food hangover from Christmas. It’s usually so long since I’ve exercised that I’ve lost my trainers, so resolutions almost always revolve around losing weight. In September though, making a resolution to last me until the end of the year seems a lot more reasonable. So this September, I’ve decided to make a resolution to prioritise better. Money has been a bit of an issue because I have been so determined to spend all the time I can with the children, that work had to happen when they were either out or asleep. This…

Friday Feature #8

Anyone who has started up a new business will understand how difficult it is to get things going on a budget. Sadly, this can often mean cutting corners in terms of both quality and ethics.  That’s why I was honoured to be asked to feature a brand new company who only use eco-friendly, pure and natural ingredients.  If you use scented candles or oil burners or are looking for something for mother’s day (like me!) then this is for you.  Tarts With a Heart make handmade, eco friendly soy wax melts. You use them like oils in an oil burner, placing…
