Crowngate Kids Club at the Pod

Keeping the children entertained in the school holidays can be pricey. Shopping trips seem like an expedition with reluctant little ones. Sometimes though, a shopping centre goes the extra mile to make it a bit easier. We headed to Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester over half term to make the most of their free kids club. I walked into the brand new YO! restaurant in Worcester with two children who were so excited they were out of control. I made a pathetic attempt at conversing with the restaurant manager before being distracted by the girls jumping onto the benches. Before I knew it, the manager had legged it, leaving me with the two Tasmanian devils grabbing at the conveyor belt. About YO! YO! Woods Alive

Most weekends we try to get out and about at least one of the days. After a hideous day of rain yesterday, this morning was looking a bit more promising.  Breakfast was rather a relaxed affair with poached eggs on toast and chocolate croissants on the menu. Enjoying a rainy Sunday

Weekends tend to be a time for days out as a family. They usually include a walk with Pluto and we like to be outdoors. Today though, the weather was looking dreadful so in contrast to our usual weekends, we headed into town.  Both girls had a nice lazy morning listening to some music before we went anywhere.
