Around the web
As well as blogging at Plutonium Sox you’ll find me featured in various other places. I have another website of my own and have written for various companies as well as being showcased on other blogs. Here are just a few of them.
Shop Palm Oil Free
Shop Palm Oil Free is my own website. I have always been passionate about ethical shopping and when I became aware of the environmental issues caused by palm oil production, I sought to avoid it in everyday life. This was made notably more difficult due to lack of information. Shop Palm Oil Free is a directory listing companies that make products that are free from both palm oil and derivatives of palm oil. I also have a blog on that page, where I review palm oil free items and aim to educate people on the palm oil issue.
What the Redhead Said
Donna over at What the Redhead Said is one of my favourite bloggers. Of course, when she invited me to feature on her blog I was delighted. I took part in her ‘beginning of us’ series, sharing how I met my husband. I don’t wish to spoil the surprise, but let’s just say it wasn’t love at first sight.
Drayton Manor Park
In 2015, I was a blogger ambassador for Drayton Manor. As well as attending some amazing events and blogging about my experiences, I wrote a guest post for Drayton Manor on their own blog. My post tells you all about our year as blogger ambassadors. And what a year it was!
Tin Box Traveller
Tin Box Traveller is a brilliant family travel blog covering everything from caravans to cruises. They run a series called Travel Timehop which I was honoured to be asked to participate in. I was asked to share a photo from a past holiday and tell the story behind the photo. I was delighted to tell my story of jungle tribes, guns and unexpected monsters. Wow I was exciting back in the day!
Wyatt and Jack
I have a real problem with highstreet fashion. I don’t like the way it makes people feel about themselves if they don’t conform. I don’t like the waste involved in the constant updating of outfits to keep up with trends, and I don’t like the way things are made using cheap labour from poorly paid workers. That’s why I instantly fell in love with the incredible, ethically produced bags that Wyatt and Jack make from reclaimed fabric. Of course, I was happy to road test a few of their bags and they interviewed me about life, bags and toast.
