Cheerz photo canvas review and giveaway

A few months ago, I reviewed a Cheerz Memory Box. I fell totally in love with both the product and the idea of printing my photos. So when we visited beautiful Lindisfarne a few weeks ago, I knew just how to preserve the memories of a great holiday. Printing a photo canvas Cheerz sell a range of photo products. They make it easy to print off your best pictures. They are also realistic. After all, our best photos aren’t always taken on a fantastic camera. So Cheerz is available as an app on both Android and iOS. I have to admit,…

A relaxing mini break at the Bank House Hotel

Travelling with children sometimes leaves me feeling like I need a holiday to recover. So after a fabulous week camping with the girls, I headed to the Bank House Hotel in Worcestershire with my sister for some much needed relaxation. About the Bank House The Bank House hotel is located in the picturesque Worcestershire countryside between Malvern and Worcester. They cater for individuals, business functions, weddings and other parties. There is a fabulous restaurant, a relaxing spa and comfortable, spacious bedrooms. We stayed in an executive double room that was set up as a twin for us. When we went into the room, we were…

My top 5 family travel essentials

This is a collaborative post. I’m sitting here writing this while I watch the swarms of insects flying around. It seems as soon as the sun comes out, the midges come with it. It got me thinking about family travel essentials and the holiday that added an extra item to my list. The holiday to Rome It seems like a lifetime ago now that my then boyfriend and I went to Rome for a long weekend. I have some incredible memories from that holiday. Visiting iconic buildings like the Colosseum, my boyfriend proposing in the Sistine Chapel (he passed me a note…

My parenting confession

I like to think that all parents do something they’re not proud of. Well okay, I’ve got quite a few. I shout. And not just because I want to get my point across, it’s usually because I’ve lost it. I lie. Nothing serious but Father Christmas definitely won’t be coming if they’re naughty in August. The children still think I can phone their ballet and swimming teacher on the palm of my hand. But none of those are my parenting confession. So here it is. Don’t hate me. I throw away my children’s artwork. My parenting confession – I throw…

A review of the Snoozer cozy cave

We’re not sure of Pluto’s age, but we know his background is a sorry tale of woe. We think he’s probably around 15 years old now and he’s doddery and frail. With old age came a glum disposition. He retired himself from running and started to go home as soon as he was allowed off the lead. He decided playing ball was below him and instead spent most of his time asleep. The perfect bed Since he spends so much time in his bed, we decided we needed to get one that made him happy. We’ve tried a few, buying several expensive…

Easy baking with Craft and Crumb review and giveaway

I have written many times about the struggle I have with productivity. Working from home is so intensive that I struggle to find the time to take on additional tasks. Sadly one such task is organising birthdays. Don’t get me wrong, I want my girls to have the best birthdays possible. But they are SO demanding! When it’s my husband’s birthday, he’s happy with a chocolate cake. And I love making chocolate cake. We put some sweets on it so the girls are happy, everyone’s a winner. But when it is one of the girls’ birthdays, they want some incredible creation…

A review and giveaway of Meg Heath bespoke dog leads and collars

Bubbles is one of the most incredible dogs I’ve ever met. She’s totally submissive to other dogs, obedient to us and even does as she’s told by the children. She’s the perfect running companion and a fabulous playmate for both Pluto and the girls. She knows basic commands and always comes when she’s called. Her beautiful nature is likely to be due to her breed – she’s a crossbreed but mainly Staffordshire bull terrier. And along with the incredible attributes her breed possess, she has also inherited the one bad habit. She pulls terribly on the lead. So did I want…
