Powering up the Summer holidays with Berocca

This is a collaborative post. The trauma of Summer holidays is often the elephant in the room among parents. We all love seeing more of our little treasures because we don’t get the best of them in term time. And yet, it’s tough entertaining children who threaten to lurch into boredom at any moment. We need to be on top of our game. All the time. For six whole weeks. Reenergising with Berocca Berocca is the #1 energy vitamin in the UK. It contains eight B vitamins including B1 and B2. The B vitamins in Berocca help to release the body’s natural energy. This is a…

Looking for a camper van

This is a collaborative post. I’m not sure where the idea of the girls having an education on the road came from. My husband and I have always loved to travel but when we had the children, we accepted that we’d have to settle down for a few years. The problem is, whilst we were both ready to have children, settling down was never really on either of our agendas. When we went to Busfest last week, we both realised that we needed to start travelling sooner than anticipated. We’re not about to sell up and drive into the sunset…

Dressing for Father’s Day

Please note, this post was written in collaboration with House of Fraser. All views, opinions and sorry tales involving expensive sunglasses are my own. I don’t very often buy clothes for my husband. A good online store like House of Fraser that sells men’s clothing is really useful for me.…

My baby is growing up: Moving to a bed

When I had Libby, a friend of mine kindly gave us a cot bed for her. The intention was that she would use it as a cot until she was big enough for a bed, then I’d take the side off it and she would have it as a bed. What I hadn’t planned for was the arrival of a destructive baby. Lia was about six months old when she managed to break Libby’s cot bed. I’m not sure exactly what she did, but she managed to go straight through it, which meant that Libby had to go into a…

What are we doing with our energy?

My lack of free time at the moment makes me seriously envious of people who have time on their hands. That’s why I was interested to hear about a survey done by First Utility about what Britain puts its energy into. I say interested, actually I was a bit horrified by some of it. So, let’s start with the good bits. 37.5 per cent of people enjoy gardening. That’s great to hear, and I hope to be able to do some myself one day. I know the girls would love to be able to spend more time outside. I was…
