The day we found Dory

This summer, the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham are holding a Disney•PIXAR Finding Dory event. Until 11th September, visitors can follow a trail around the sea life centre that is based on the famous movie. Different characters have clues for you in the tanks, and you jot down the letters they are holding into a book that is given to you on arrival. Webbs by the Beach: Review

We were lucky enough to be invited to spend a couple of hours at Webbs by the beach for the purpose of this blog post. I do love living in our little part of the West Midlands, it’s beautiful. Avoncroft Museum of Old Buildings Review

As a child, I visited Avoncroft Museum of Old Buildings quite regularly, both with my parents and with the school. I remember being fascinated as to how the buildings had been taken from elsewhere and moved there, yet each one had been restored to perfection. Loch Leven and Loch of the Lowes

We decided to visit two very different lochs, both of which are near to Blairmore Farm and offer plenty to keep visitors busy. Loch Leven When we packed up to go on holiday, we promised Libby that she would be able to ride her bike while we were away. Loch Leven has a lovely flat area beside the loch with picnic benches, flat paths and a little park. Perfect for Libby’s first time cycling without stabilisers on her bike. In the centre of…

National Sea Life Centre a review & events

Earlier this year, we were lucky enough to be chosen as blogger ambassadors for the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham. Following that, we were invited to attend on Saturday to experience the Mister Maker event and be among the first people to watch their new film, Octonauts: Amazon Adventure 4D. As always, the girls were so excited to be going to the Sea Life Centre. Libby was particularly excited because Mr Maker and the Octonauts are two of her favourite television programmes. Lia isn’t quite old enough to be as engrossed in television as Libby, but she is always…
