Discount Deals on Attractions and Days Out

These days, we’re all looking for discount deals on attractions and days out. Let’s face it, a family day out is expensive. Having recently paid the eye-watering full price for the London Eye, I realised I needed to look harder for available money-off offers. So, I thought I’d share them here as well. Some of these have multiple locations nationwide – I’ve tried to put those first. The rest are dotted around the UK, so hopefully there will be at least one place near you with some discounts available.

Some of them are an online discount code, or it might just be that it’s cheaper to book online in advance for school holidays or special occasions. Either way, I’m going to gather all the available price reductions I can find every week and update them in this post. There’s a table below that you can refer to rather than trawling through the post, or have a browse to see what’s available near you.

I’ve put a section in the end for discounted short breaks that include attraction tickets. These are still quite expensive, but they are a great way to get last minute tickets for things like Warner Brothers Studio Tour. I’ve seen a few people asking how to get hold of last minute tickets for this, and if you’re going to stay nearby anyway then these discounted short breaks are a useful option. Merlin Twice the Fun Sale

• Two theme parks for the price of one: If you’re planning on going to a theme park this summer, make sure you don’t miss out on visiting a second Merlin theme park completely free. I’ve listed all the websites below – you’ll need to follow the link to the FIRST theme park you’re planning on visiting.
• Dates: Book a Twice the Fun ticket online by 27 July 2026.​ First visit by 27 July 2026. Second visit by 25 September 2026.​ Both visits must be pre-booked and attended by the same guests.

Cadbury Merlin Discounts

• Up to 50% Off Merlin Attractions: Either I haven’t been eating enough chocolate or Cadbury are keeping this really quiet but I’ve only just heard of this. If you buy specific types of chocolate and enter the batch code on the Cadbury website, they’ll give you between 10% and 50% off tickets to LOADS of Merlin attractions.
• Eligible Chocolate And Available Attractions: Check the FAQ page to see which chocolate is included and which attractions it will get you in to. All the main theme parks and loads of London attractions are listed. I wish I’d seen this before we paid full price for the London Eye.
• Dates: Tickets purchased through the 2026 offer are valid until 30th June 2027.

• Note: You have to book in advance to get this discount. You can book up to 11pm the night before your visit, but they do have limited discount price tickets for each attraction, so they advise booking as early as possible.

Oxygen ActivePlay Summer Holiday Pass

• Passport to Play: Unlimited 60-minute Open Play sessions for the whole summer holidays for £35. SEN peaceful play passport and softplay passports for 0-3 year-olds are both available for £20 for the same time period. Available at multiple venues nationwide – check the website for your closest location.
• Dates: 18th July to 31st August 2026

London Theatre Kids Week Free and Half Price Tickets

• Free Theatre Tickets For Under 18s: One child aged 17 or under is free with an accompanying adult who pays full price. Up to two more children are eligible for half-price tickets. Booking is now open and sells out quickly. There may be additional activities before or after some shows as well as the discount.
• Dates: 20th July to 31st August 2026.

Gulliver’s Theme Park Discounted Entry Tickets

• Offer: Theme Park Tickets from £12.50 each (48% off normal price) – valid at all four Gulliver’s Locations: Milton Keynes, Rother Valley, Matlock Bath, & Warrington. 
• Dates: Available to buy until 31 July 2026 (price is subject to change). Can be used for bookings up to 27th September 2026.

Port Lympne Safari Park Reduced Price

Offer: Park entry, truck experience and animal adoption pack for 2 people – £60 (17% off) or 4 people £120 (9% off)

Conkers Discovery Centre Discounted Family Ticket

• Offer: Family ticket for two adults and two children – £25 (48% discount).
• Dates: Available to buy until 28th December 2026. Valid for visits until 31st December 2026 excluding bank holidays – 26th July to 1st September 2026 also excluded so this offer can’t be used during the school summer holidays.

Flamingo Land Reduced Price Single and Family Tickets

• Offer: Tickets from £29 (50% off usual price) – or £97 for four people (58% off normal price). Other reduced price tickets also available.
• Dates: Will be available to buy until 31st October 2026 and valid for visits until 1st November 2026.

Hoo Zoo Discount Outside School Holidays

Offer: Family ticket (2 adults, 2 kids) for £37 (57% off).
Dates: Will be available to buy until 16th July 2026 and can be redeemed until 17th July 2026. That does mean that this one WON’T be available in school summer holidays.

British Motor Museum Kids Tickets for £1

All child tickets £1: This one is hidden away on the website booking page but I spotted this huge saving for the summer.

Charnwood Forest Reduced Price Afternoon Tea

Offer: Afternoon tea and walk with alpacas – £36 for one (27% off), £68 for two (31% off)

• Stay over and get a second day free: This is another Merlin offer. It’s a great time to book a short break as you’ll currently get the second theme park day for free if you book a short stay. I’ve listed all the websites below as you need to book this one directly with the attraction you plan on visiting. This one includes Warwick Castle as well, which the twice the fun offer doesn’t.
