Monkey Music Let’s Sing and Play

We were delighted to be sent the Monkey Music Let’s Sing and Play book for the purpose of this blog post. A couple of weeks ago, a book arrived in the post for the girls. We’re always pleased to receive books to review, as they are both real bookworms. A new story is always welcomed, and the girls will usually read it again and again. Monkey Music Let’s Sing and Play was a bit different. With the book, you receive a CD that contains 22 songs. The idea is that rather than just listening to a story, children can sing, dance…

The narcissism of bloggers

Years ago, I remember my gran keeping a diary. She wasn’t a prolific diary keeper, but she often wrote down what she did each day, particularly when something of interest happened. The first 100 people to visit that day will be charged the original entry price of just £5.95. They will also receive a limited edition badge. And if…

Pirongs – Review & Giveaway

I was delighted to be sent one of these personalised, Unique Planners by Pirongs free of charge for the purpose of this blog post. I have always been a bit of a stationery addict.  There’s nothing more exciting than a brand new diary, notebook or planner.  It seems to signify a fresh start, a new schedule and exciting times ahead.  Back in January, I bought an A5 diary, thinking it would be big enough to put everything in and keep myself organised.  I was wrong.  So wrong in fact, that I’ve pretty much given up on it now. And that’s the…
