Our Thursday Photo #87

This week I’ve been attempting to follow a bit more of a schedule in terms of fitting in work, blogging and managing my palm oil free website. I have to admit it hasn’t been going quite to plan, but that’s predominantly because everything has conspired against me. I’m hoping this won’t always be the case. So, here’s the schedule: Monday No freelance work on a Monday or Tuesday Schedule posts for my blog Catch up with any admin that I haven’t got done the previous week Work on my palm oil free website Tuesday Schedule posts for both Plutonium Sox and…

The rabbit who wants to fall asleep: Win!

Bedtime in our house is chaos. It’s everything the experts say it shouldn’t be. The girls have a nice, sedate story downstairs with their dad while I’m working. Our Thursday Photo #86

This past week has been a bit of a whirlwind. Christmas is always a busy time, particularly when you have children as young as ours. As usual, the past week has been chaos. We’re still playing catch up a bit in terms of finances since the time off I had to take after my husband’s accident. This has meant that I haven’t managed to take time off work over Christmas. I do love being freelance and working from home is the best decision I ever made, but times like this make me realise that it’s far from the easy way out. That said, I’ve made it to all of the children’s parties, events and plays and we’ve had amazing days out together that I never…

Hogwarts in the snow with toddlers: Review

Last week, we were lucky enough to go to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, London to see Hogwarts in the Snow. I have always loved the Harry Potter books and was really impressed with the film adaptation of it so the studio tour appealed to me. However, my girls are very young. They have both watched little bits of the Harry Potter films and quite enjoyed them, but they’re not old enough to be really into them. I did wonder how much they would enjoy the studio tour. There was another problem too – my husband is still unable to…
