Cotton Traders is one of the most authentic clothing brands around. Their values include commitment to protection of the planet and helping the communities where the clothes are made.

One of the things I like the most about Cotton Traders as a brand is that they make garments to last. I have had many of their items for several years and the quality is still great. Better still, many of their classic styles don’t go in and out of fashion so you don’t find yourself replacing clothes for the sake of it.

Cotton Traders have kindly sent me a few items from their New In collection to share. As always, I had a hard time choosing what to go for but I’m delighted with my choices.

Stretchy Slim-Leg Trousers

These stretchy, slim-leg trousers are available in a few different colours, including beige and khaki. I couldn’t resist this lovely dark navy. They are smart enough for work, but equally fine to wear as an alternative to jeans. Bonus points for a stretchy waistline (I’ll be wearing them next time I’m out for dinner), and a good selection of pockets. Robust AND stylish. Smart AND comfortable. They tick all the boxes.

Jersey Print Midi Dress

I’ve got this stunning Jersey print midi dress on pre-order. It looks absolutely ideal for Spring and I love the detailing to give you a bit of shape around the waist. The shape of the skirt is lovely too. This is another garment that can be worn as smart or casual. Pair it with some killer heels for a smart look, or dress it down with a pair of trainers. I love the beautiful floral print and can’t wait to wear it to an event in the spring.

Vest Top

I love a long vest top that stays long even after plenty of washes. This is definitely one of those. It comes in a variety of colours too, so I’ll probably pick up a few more for the Summer months. This one is the raspberry colour, which is super cheerful. Priced at just £8 each, these are a bargain. They’re made from pure cotton too, ideal for the warmer months.

Bee Socks

These super quirky socks come in a pack of three, with each pair having a different colour and design incorporating bees. Bee designs are so popular at the moment, these would make a great gift. I’ll be keeping them for myself though. A matching scarf and purse are available.
