Things to do in Worcestershire February half term 2024
School holidays are approaching again, so it’s time to check out all the things to do in Worcestershire during February half term 2024. As half term isn’t quite such a big event as the Christmas holidays, many places announce their plans quite late. If your favourite attraction doesn’t have anything listed as yet, do get in touch with them to see what their plans are. All Things Wild Worcestershire February half term 2024
Find out what it’s like behind the scenes at All Things Wild this February half term, with their Zookeeper Adventure. The zookeepers will teach you about the habitats and behaviour of the creatures as well as sharing fascinating facts. Get up close and personal with the animals and learn about their care. You’ll even have chance to ask questions about the role of zoo keeper and listen to personal experiences in exclusive sessions.

Attwell Farm Park
Meet new arrivals at Attwell Farm park in Redditch, Worcestershire this February half term from 18th to 26th February 2024. Explore the farm park and see the animals including newborn lambs and an interactive petting area. Head inside for a three-tier giant soft play area. There’s also a toddler play zone and giant sand pit barn. Outside, there are jumping pillows, bounce and flip pedal tractors and a play area including climbing and slides. There’s even a new guinea pig village to explore this year. This event sold out last year, so they advise booking in advance.

Bodenham Arboretum
Look out for the faces hiding high in the woodland’s trees on the Tree People Trail this half term. Follow the trail to see what charming characters you can find. Booking into this event gives visitors access to the arboretum and farmyard, 5 miles of woodland walks and the Bodenham Donkeys.

Croome National Trust Worcestershire February half term 2024
Learn about the feathered friends of Croome when you visit this half term. Find out about the diverse species of bird that visit and call this iconic landscape their home. There’s a giant birds nest to visit to put yourself in the mood, then it’s time to look for bird habitats across the parkland. Follow a bird-themed trail with activities to help you get creative.

Hanbury Hall National Trust
Make your own Cupid’s Arrow this February half term at Hanbury Hall. Take inspiration from the James Thornhill wall paintings in the hall, including the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite and her son, Eros – otherwise known as cupid! Make a cupid style arrows and quiver to spread the love around Hanbury Hall. No booking required. Crafts cost £2 extra in additional to entrance fee.

Hartlebury Castle
Celebrate the Chinese New Year at Hartlebury Castle this half term. As the year of the Dragon begins, visitors will be able to follow a dragon lantern trail around the Castle, learning about the Chinese zodiac en route. The lantern trail costs an additional 50p on top of standard admission. On selected dates, craft activities will be available as well. Visitors can make their own Chinese lantern or dragon craft. This costs £3.50 per person, including the lantern trail.

Little Owl Farm Park Worcestershire February half term 2024
Little Owl Farm Park reopens for the season in time for half term. You can visit the expectant ewes, learn about lambing and see if you can time it right to see a lamb being born. Visit the pygmy goat kids in the petting barn and enjoy indoor play including soft play and pedal tractors, plus outdoor play including a commando course, climbing wall and bouncy pillows. They advise booking in advance.
When and where: From 10th February 2024, Little Owl Farm Park, Worcestershire.
The Falconry Centre
The Falconry Centre in Hagley offers children’s bird handling experiences during school holidays. Children aged 10 and over can have an hour experience and children aged 6 and over can have half an hour. The children will learn about a selection of birds such as owls, hawks and kestrels. They will have the opportunity to handle and fly the birds too. Parents don’t have to be left out either, you can also book a family or small group bird handling experience. All bird handling experiences need to be booked in advance. However, if you’d just like to just visit and see a flying display, they are open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 3.30 pm and you can just turn up. Flying displays take place at 1pm.

West Midlands Safari Park
Bluey and Bingo will be at West Midlands Safari Park every weekday during February half term 2024. Meet and Greet slots have to be booked online in advance. Visitors can also enjoy a drive-around safari as well as other attractions.

Witley Court
Whilst no particular event is taking place at Witley Court in Worcestershire for February half term 2024, it is always a lovely day out. Explore the ruins, watch the stunning water fountains and take a stroll around beautiful grounds. Children’s play areas and a café will keep visitors entertained. Don’t forget to look out at the stunning view from the top by the buildings. An audio tour is available so you can learn about the spooky court’s history and the people who lived there.
