Making best use of my time

Since booking Lia into preschool, I’ve been thinking about the extra time I’ll have from September. From Monday to Wednesday, I won’t have either of the girls for five hours a day. Much as I’ll miss them, I’ve been looking forward to taking on some extra work. But last week, I realised that work really couldn’t be my priority. Hiring a dream car

This is a Collaborative Post. If you could hire a famous car, which one would you go for? We’ve been chatting about it this week, and it seems that our car choices alter with age. The summer holidays are finally here! I’m meeting them with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Spending more time with the girls will be brilliant, but I’m already struggling to fit in work. A dramatic weekend We spent the weekend at Warwick Castle for their Wars of the Roses event. Around here, drama is usually negative. But I’m happy to say that the weekend was dramatic in a positive way. The Wars of the Roses show was incredible and we’re hoping to make it there again later in the summer before it closes. We spent the weekend in a Warwick Castle Knights Lodge. We were there to watch the incredible Wars of the Roses show. Here’s a short video of what we were up to. Turn up the volume, it’s dramatic! At last, the summer holidays are upon us! I don’t know about you but for us, that means lots of adventures. We’ve already been to stay at Alton Towers (we sneaked that one in before the end of term) and Warwick Castle. We have lots of grand plans for days out and camping trips over the next few weeks.
