Skincare for teens: Tolpa Review

With her thirteenth birthday rapidly approaching, Libby has developed the typical teenage obsession with skincare. Fortunately, she’s very aware that at her age, skin can be quite delicate and can react to harsh products. So, she’s been on the hunt for the best skincare for teens and tweens. First up is Tolpa, a cult Polish skincare brand that has recently come to the UK.
About Tolpa
Each product in the Tolpa Dermo range is designed to address a specific skincare concern. This may be dehydration, blemishes, rosacea, acne or oiliness. It uses a combination of natural ingredients and scientific processes to ensure that each product gives the desired results, whilst avoiding skin irritation.
Furthermore, Tolpa formulate their products in textures and fragrances that offer comfort, cooling and toning. Teens will be glad to know that Tolpa are leading the way when it comes to beauty trends too!
Tolpa Dermo Face Sebio+ Face Wash Gel
This face wash comes in a great pump-action pot that Libby absolutely loves. Tolpa face wash is super easy to transport, ideal for travel and it’s designed for sensitive, allergic, combination and oily skin as well as skin with imperfections.
The face wash deep cleans and exfoliates the skin and unclogs the pores. Libby has put together a video on my YouTube channel with her thoughts about the face wash and she found it brilliant for unclogging pores. Likewise, she was extremely fond of the smell.
In the past, Libby has had a few problems with dry skin and slight rashes, so we were interested to see whether this would work for her. Fortunately, she found it both really effective and gentle on her skin. She’s had no problems with dryness, rashes or spots since using the face wash and she continues to use it daily.
Tolpa Dermo Face Sebio+ Correcting Cream
Libby has got to an age where she sometimes has a few spots under the skin. They’re never very obvious and I can’t see them unless she points them out, but she knows they’re there and it drives her mad.
This correcting cream is formulated for skin that is oily, allergic, combination or sensitive with imperfections. It makes discolouration and changes resolve quicker, reduces the secretion of sebum and has a mattifying effect that lasts up to 24 hours – ideal for teens who wear makeup!
Whilst Libby’s spots are far from awful, she has been using this correcting cream whenever she’s had a spot and after a couple of uses, the spot disappears. I’m not sure how quickly they would go if she’d used nothing on them, but she is extremely impressed with it and feels a lot more confident about her skin after she’s used it.
The Verdict
