Wyevale breakfast with Santa

This morning, we were lucky enough to be invited to attend Wyevale Garden Centres breakfast with Santa. We chose to go to Hereford Wellington Garden Centre because it is both nearby and in a lovely location. When we arrived, we were shown to our table where the children had a plethora of things to keep them entertained until breakfast time. Christmas crackers, colouring pencils, an activity sheet and chocolate coins. The look on Libby’s face when she was allowed to pull her Christmas cracker was priceless. She was also pretty pleased with the gift in her cracker. Who doesn’t want to be…

Christmas at Webbs, Wychbold

This morning we were lucky enough to be invited to the Christmas experience at Webbs Garden Centre at Wychbold, just outside Droitwich. This is one of those places that I’ve driven past on numerous occasions but I’ve never really ventured inside and I was really glad I did! When we arrived, we had a look around the garden centre and their Christmas area. Libby, as any little girl would, took a particular liking to the Cinderella carriage. The Christmas display at Webbs as a whole was magical, and I just loved this little touch, particularly as it is possible to…

Review of the Rebuilding Society

A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to review the Rebuilding Society website. I had heard of crowd-funding and peer-to-peer lending before, so I was delighted to spend some time researching the concept. As I run a small business, it is always great to know the options that are available to us in terms of funding.  Lending via the Rebuilding Society This time, I dealt with the Rebuilding Society as a lender, having £50 to lend to one of the companies listed on the Marketplace. I took a little while to choose a company to lend to, because…
