The posture of parenting
Within the daily struggle of parenthood, being me has become my biggest battle. Last week, I was looking at my children playing at my feet when I had a sudden moment of realisation. I spend an inordinate amount of time with my head down. Watching the girls, looking at my laptop or phone, preparing food….
How to teach handwriting without destroying self esteem
This is a collaborative post. Isn’t it amazing what an impact a seemingly insignificant moment can have on your life? For me, it was a decision taken by a primary school teacher. When all my friends moved up into the next class after the summer, I was to go into a different class with children…
A family meal at Côte Worcester
Where is your go-to place for eating out with children? Côte certainly wouldn’t have been our first choice. Recently though, they’ve developed some fantastic activity packs for little ones, along with a children’s menu. Better still, they were really flexible with my two. Hi there- sorry for your loss, take care
Thank you Sharon.x
So sorry to hear that 🙁 When our old dog Molly died we used to still hear her thumping up and down the stairs at my folks house for months afterwards. It felt like she was hanging on for us to not feel so sad. I know that sounds mental, but there’s something special about old dogs I think. Hope you’re ok xxx
Aw bless thanks Maz. Strange that you still heard Molly after she’d gone. Snoop was a great dog and we will all miss him, especially my mum as she has had him for the last few years.xx
