Connected devices and online security
We all know that familiar sinking feeling. When the laptop that doubles as a lifeline starts to play up. Slowing down, becoming unreliable. It starts to crash frequently and then one day, nothing. You can’t switch it on, a virus has wiped the data and thrown you out. Sometimes it’s reversible, but not always. Online…
The day we asked Google whether babies could have dentures
I’m not one to shy away from admitting my parenting fails. And let’s face it, there have been a few. But perhaps one of our most ridiculous moments as parents came when my youngest daughter was around 11 months old and still showing absolutely no signs of teething. Can babies have dentures? In our defence,…
The vortex of time
The uniform tick, tock of the clock. Time passes, never changing. And yet, somehow, it has warped. Whizzing by at the peak of the vortex, dragging slowly on the outer edge. A distorted perception, an unexpected reality. Time drags A mum sits on the bed, listening to her husband snoring. Exhausted. Willing the baby girl…
Good things and bad things
Is it a struggle to find out anything about your child’s day? When my eldest started preschool, we’d have the same conversation with her day in, day out. “What did you to today?” “Sing songs, play toys.” We never got much more out of her than that. Some days, her teachers would tell us that…

Hi there- sorry for your loss, take care
Thank you Sharon.x
So sorry to hear that 🙁 When our old dog Molly died we used to still hear her thumping up and down the stairs at my folks house for months afterwards. It felt like she was hanging on for us to not feel so sad. I know that sounds mental, but there’s something special about old dogs I think. Hope you’re ok xxx
Aw bless thanks Maz. Strange that you still heard Molly after she’d gone. Snoop was a great dog and we will all miss him, especially my mum as she has had him for the last few years.xx
