Prezzybox Christmas Gift Challenge and Giveaway

When I need to buy a gift, my first stop is always the Prezzybox website. I love the fact that they cater for literally everyone, from my two year old daughter to my (I could tell you but I’d have to kill you) year old dad. So when Prezzybox set me a Christmas gift challenge, I knew it would be both fun and ridiculously easy! Prezzybox gave me the profile of three fictional characters and I had to buy a gift for each of them from their website. I had a budget of £25 per person. So here are my…

Managing everyday parenting stress

This is a collaborative post. Being a parent is stressful. There, I said it. My little beautiful, sweet little angels are more difficult to deal with than any psychotic manager, high-flying career or high-maintenance team I’ve ever worked with. Well this year, people have been reading that post since the beginning of the school holidays. This has made me realise that it’s time for…

Our Thursday Photo #82

I am finally organising myself for Christmas. When I say finally, I don’t mean that early December is late to start getting ready for Christmas. I mean that this is the first year I’ve ever been vaguely organised. I’ve baked Christmas cake, bought a tree and decorations (they’re going up on Saturday) and I’ve even bought a few gifts. I’ve been fairly overrun with work as usual and on Monday, I went to the Co-op to buy some wine. Having got to bed at around 2 am on Sunday night, I was in my usual haggard state. I grabbed my bottle…

Our Thursday Photo #81

This week, I’ve decided that I’m going to break the habit of a lifetime and actually buy some Christmas presents in November. I’ve never really had much awareness of the deals available on Black Friday in previous years. I now realise that the discounts make it financially preferably to be organised and do my shopping tomorrow. Having done quite a bit of research on the offers around, I thought I’d share my favourite offers, competitions and small companies who don’t reduce their prices. 1. Amazon I do quite a bit of shopping on Amazon because I find that it generally…
