Things to do in Warwickshire Easter holidays 2024
School Easter holidays are approaching, so it’s time for a list of things to do in Warwickshire. Lots of attractions have Easter events taking place this year and others are reopening after a Winter break.

Baddesley Clinton
There’s loads happening at Baddesley Clinton this Easter holidays. Enjoy Easter crafts, chick and bunny hoopla, pin the tail on the bunny and an egg and spoon race. The trail costs £3 on top of the entry cost. This includes a trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg. Allergy friendly alternative chocolate eggs are available too.

British Motor Museum Warwickshire Easter holidays 2024
Find out about the fastest cars in Britain this Easter at the British Motor Museum. Follow a family trail to track down the fastest car. Find all the vehicles and write down their top speed and their name. Then compare speeds to see which is quickest! Head to the learning hub to create your own fast car from cardboard and sign up for a tour around the museum with a racing driver.

Charlecote Park
Hunt for Easter eggs at Charlecote Park on a family trail. There will be fun family activities to do along the way, including egg hoopla, an egg toss, jigsaw puzzles and springos. The trail costs £3 on top of the entry cost. This includes a trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg. Allergy friendly alternative chocolate eggs are available too.

Compton Verney
Follow a family Easter Trail around Compton Verney and see if you can guess the animals that are about to hatch from the eggs you find en route. There will be clues on your Easter trail map and there’s colouring in to do too. There’s even a prize at the end for participants. Trails cost an additional £3.50 on top of the entry fee and are available from the welcome centre. Check the website for other events taking place on selected dates during the Warwickshire Easter holidays, including a STEM event and one that’s all about getting muddy.

Enchanted Tea Room Warwickshire Easter holidays 2024
There are lots of fun afternoon teas taking place at the Enchanted Tea Room this Easter holidays. Themes include afternoon tea with princesses, the Easter bunny, Woody and Jessie, the snow princesses or the Candy man.

Hatton Adventure World
Head to Hatton Adventure World this Easter holidays for a spring spectacular. Look out for all the piglets, chicks, lambs and goat kids. Learn all about the babies and enjoy animal handling opportunities. If you time it right, you could even witness a baby animal being born. Other attractions include puppet and magic shows in the family theatre, a guinea pig village, the opportunity to get close to lizards and snakes, a falcolnry show, laser combat (over 8s only), soft play and superslide mania.

Mad Museum
There’s no particular event taking place at the MAD Museum for Warwickshire Easter holidays 2024, but school holidays are a great time to visit the only mechanical art venue in the UK. Visitors can interact with art, contraptions and machines, and create marble runs on a giant wall. Craft facilities are available so you can sketch exhibits as well as taking photos and videos. Little ones will love the sensory experience at the MAD museum with its sounds, colours, movement and flashing lights. Children will subtly learn about physics, maths and design as they look at interactive, eccentric and loud art.

Packwood House Warwickshire Easter holidays 2024
There are ten Easter activities for all the family to enjoy this school holiday at Packwood House. Stroll across the gardens participating in Easter crafts, memory games and wheelbarrow races. You can make a nature pledge and plant a seed too. The trail costs £3 on top of the entry cost. This includes a trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg. Allergy friendly alternative chocolate eggs are available.

Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall
Would your children like to spend a day at school during their Easter holidays? What if it happened to be the very same schoolroom that William Shakespeare learned in during the 1570s? It also happens to be where he wrote his first works. Whilst there is no particular event for Easter holidays 2024, there’s always lots going on. The museum is open from 11am to 5pm every day and visitors can experience Tudor life. Shakespeare’s teacher Thomas Jenkins is on hand to teach the lessons and guides will tell you all about the building and the Shakespeare family. See 600-year old wall paintings from medieval times, try on authentic Tudor clothes and learn to write with ink using a quill.

Kenilworth Castle (English Heritage)
Two events take place during the Easter holidays 2024 at Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire.
Easter Adventure Quest
Hunt around the castle grounds for clues on the Kenilworth Easter Adventure Quest. Find the Easter eggs to earn a chocolatey reward. The quest cost is £2 per child on top of the entry price. This can be paid for on arrival. It is cheaper to book admission tickets online in advance.

The Big Brick Build
Master LEGO builders are on hand this Easter to help visitors to create a brick masterpiece. Design a garden fit for Queen Elizabeth I’s visit to Kenilworth. Can you add something that will help her admirer Robert Dudley to win her heart? The brick builders will put everyone’s designs together to create a mini version of the Castle’s garden’s for everyone to enjoy. This event is included in the standard entry price.

Warwick Castle Easter holidays 2024
This Easter, hunt for dragon eggs around Warwick Castle. Visitors can also go to Dragon Knight School, have an encounter with a baby dragon and meet Guy of Warwick on his horse. Look out for the Falcolner’s Quest bird of prey show, the Trebuchet, Horrible Histories maze and Zog themed activities. Young children will also love storytelling in the Princess Tower.
