Things to do in Shropshire Easter holidays 2023
School Easter holidays are approaching, so it’s time for a list of things to do in Shropshire. Lots of attractions have Easter events taking place this year and others are reopening after a Winter break. From Easter egg hunts to celebrations of spring, there’s lots to see and do around Shropshire. If you’re on a budget, check out my post about free things to do in Shropshire as well.

Attingham Park (National Trust)
Follow the nature-inspired Easter trail around the grounds of Attingham park from 25th March to 16th April 2023. Take the Mile Walk completing bee-themed activities and earn a chocolate egg with vegan and free-from alternatives available. For older children, there’s an extra ‘Hive Mind’ challenge to learn to understand bee language! This route will take you along the river and woodland walk. Blists Hill Victorian Town Shropshire Easter Holidays 2023
Blists Hill Victorian Town are celebrating the history of chocolate this Easter holidays. From 2nd to 16th April 2023, visitors will be able to follow a chocolate trail around the site. Look out for advertisements for your favourite bars of chocolate. When you complete the trail, you’ll be able to create your own chocolate wrapper and print it on a traditional printing press. Boscobel House English Heritage
Crack the clues on an adventure quest this Easter holidays at Boscobel House. Undertake challenges as you explore the gardens and grounds, discovering traditional games along the way. Track down Easter eggs to earn a chocolate reward and adventurer’s certificate. Don’t forget to check out the new playground and learn about the history of this house where Charles II hid during the Civil War from costumed storytellers. Hawkstone Park Follies Shropshire Easter Holidays 2023
Dragon eggs have been spotted in the woods this Easter holidays at Hawkstone Park Follies. The only problem is, the trolls didn’t want to share their woods with noisy dragons, so they’ve hidden the eggs! Embark on a quest around the follies to find them before they hatch! This interactive trail is included in the ticket price for all child tickets purchased. Tickets purchased online in advance work out cheaper. Park Hall Farm Countryside Experience
There’s a fairy tale theme at Park Hall Farm in Shropshire for Easter holidays 2023 from 1st to 16th April. Look out for an Alice in Wonderland egg hunt and meet and greet with both Alice and the White Rabbit. Cheer on your favourite in the Easter Bunny race, look out for Humpty Dumpty and the unicorns. Entry into the event also includes the use of play areas, tractor rides, museums, planet rooms, science area and meeting the animals. Head to the Park Hall Farm website for full details and to book.
Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre Easter Holidays 2023
Enjoy wholesome family fun at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre this Easter holiday with an I spy nature hunt. Observe the plants, bugs and landscape, create a watercolour and start a nature journal.
