SINCERIS Candles For Mother’s Day

If your mum is a candle lover, SINCERIS make candles in a wide range of scents that she will love, from festive delights to zingy favourites. My personal favourite is the roast coffee candle in a tin. I try to limit myself to drinking coffee in the mornings, but this prolongs the gorgeous aroma throughout the day.

Lip Balms

SINCERIS Lip balms do come with a little warning from me if you’re treating mum to one of these this Mother’s Day – I highly recommend buying one for yourself as well. My girls have both pinched one of these for their school bags. They’re lovely little pots that can be shared with school friends much more hygienically than stick-style lip balms. They also leave lips feeling beautifully moisturised. We don’t find that they require re-application as often as other products.

SINCERIS Soap Bars

We’ve been using soap bars in the bathroom for a few years now because I can’t stand the plastic waste associated with hand and bodywash. It’s safe to say that the SINCERIS soap bar is the nicest one we’ve tried. It holds its shape well with use and doesn’t disintegrate, and better still it smells incredible.

SINCERIS stock a wide range of soap fragrances, but the one we had was Manuka. It is an allergen free essential oil and has all the healing properties of tea tree. I actually liked it so much that within a few minutes of putting it in our bathroom, I was back on the website to buy another one. That’s how I know that it’s not currently available. I’m certain the other fragrances will be equally delightful, but I’m very much hoping they eventually restock this one.

Facial Cleanser

Cleanser is a lovely addition to a pampering Mother’s Day hamper. As with all SINCERIS products, this cream cleanser with Frankincense & Bergamot is gentle, combining soothing aloe vera and jojoba with the warm, uplifting scent of frankincense and bergamot to gently remove makeup and impurities while keeping skin soft and hydrated. I’m extremely fussy when it comes to cleansers, for both my own skin and the children’s. We all know that a gift for mum is likely to end up used by the whole family, which is exactly what has happened in my house. As we all swim a lot, we’re all prone to dry skin on our faces. Using this in the evenings gently wipes away any makeup and chlorine that might otherwise have caused dryness so we’re all appreciating soft skin that is free from irritations.

Moisturisers

On their Face and Body page, SINCERIS have a range of beautiful moisturisers and we’ve been trying out a couple of them. Whilst I am quite into gardening, this is the one time of year that I don’t get out into my garden much. At the moment, our daffodils and tulips are shooting in the front garden so we’re steering clear to avoid accidentally trampling on them.

Instead, I’ve tried out the gardeners’ hand cream whilst running and open water swimming. My hands can end up prone to chapping from both activities at this time of year because I almost never wear gloves. Thankfully, the Gardner’s Hand Cream contains allantoin to help retain moisture as well as promoting healing and cell regeneration. It seems to have completely protected my hands from chapping even in the very icy weather earlier in the year.

Unfortunately, I’ve had less opportunity to try out the coconut and sweet almond moisturiser. But I can confirm that it smells lovely and my children have very soft skin at the moment…
