Family Travel Tips #9

The past couple of weeks have been all about the build-up to the summer holidays for us. July is a really busy month and we’re all looking forward to winding down with a week’s camping holiday – at a campsite with no phone signal! We spent the weekend at Alton Towers thanks to Konfidence. It was probably the best weekend the girls have ever had and I’ll be reviewing the brand new cBeebies hotel soon. Featured posts My featured post for this week is this one from Joy about glamping and having a digital detox. This really appealed to me,…

Family Travel Tips #8

I have no idea where the past fortnight has gone. We have been very much keeping our heads down and getting on with things. Roll on the end of term, we’re ready for a holiday! We’ve been in birthday mode here and we’ve also had some lovely National Trust days out. I hope you have been having some exciting adventures too. I’m loving reading your posts about UK days out as well as exotic holidays.…

Featured posts Every fortnight, Carrie and I each choose a post to feature from those that linked up last time. I really enjoyed this post about edible Shetland from Foodie Quine. Shetland is somewhere I have always wanted to visit and Claire’s post just made me…

Family Travel Tips #3

I can’t believe it’s been a fortnight since the last Family Travel Tips, that time has flown by. I hope everyone has had an exciting Easter break with plenty of chocolate and lots of adventures. We’ve been away for a few days and it was great to start the camping season early this year. Featured posts from Family Travel tips #2 Carrie and I both really enjoyed reading all the posts that were linked up to family travel tips #2. My favourite post was this one about surviving a camper van holiday with children from Otis and Us. I found it…
