Best Christmas days out in Herefordshire 2023
There are some lovely days out in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas for Christmas 2023. This is a comprehensive list of places to see Santa in Herefordshire, as well as other festive events. Berrington Hall (National Trust)
The 2023 event has not yet been announced. They usually celebrate with traditional decorations and celebrations. I have linked to their events page below so you can check for updates. I’ll insert it into this post when I hear details of the 2023 Christmas event at Berrington Hall.

Christmas at Brockhampton Estate, Herefordshire (National Trust)
Brockhampton has not announced an event for Christmas 2023. I have linked to their events page below so you can check for updates. They usually go for traditional celebrations and decorations based on a particular era of Brockhampton’s history.

Courtyard Hereford – Dick Whittington Pantomime 2023 – 2024
As the Courtyard Theatre celebrates its 25th anniversary, they’re putting on a fantastic family pantomime. This year, Dick Whittington and his cat are embarking on an adventure to find fame and fortune. From rags to riches, they journey to London with plenty of music, action, sparkly costumes and of course, plenty of laughs.
Dates: The show takes place from 1st December 2023 to 6th January 2024. Adult only nights are on 5th, 15th and 22nd December and 5th January. An audio-described performance takes place on 16th December and a BSL performance on 17th December. Relaxed and dementia friendly performances take place on 4th January.

Courtyard Hereford – Goldilocks
In this year’s Christmas show, Goldilocks is brought to life with original songs, humour and interactive puppetry. Described as an “enchanting retelling” of the fairytale, Snow White learns to overcome all the obstacles life throws at her thanks to friends, singing and plenty of fun. This short production is ideal for children aged 7 and under, lasting just 55 minutes.

Croft Castle (National Trust) Herefordshire
Croft Castle hasn’t yet announced its Christmas event for 2023. However, events usually include traditional decorations based on a particular era of the property’s history and carol singers at the weekends. Events tend to be free for National Trust members. Ralph Court Gardens Herefordshire
Ralph Court Gardens will become a Winter Wonderland for Christmas 2023. Enjoy a musical fountain dancing to festive music, Christmas inflatables, and Victorian carol singers. Listen to a Christmas tale read by Boris the bear and hear their donkey-supported singing reindeer. Ralph Court Gardens guarantee snow flurries every day, so be sure to wrap up warm!
