Toddlebike2 – Review & Giveaway

When Libby was tiny, a friend of mine was kind enough to send us a Toddlebike for her birthday. At the time I’d never heard of Toddlebike, but it has since gone on to become probably the most used toy in our household. Toddlebike is designed to be the prequel to a balance bike. It teaches very young children to sit down on the bike and scoot along. And recently, Toddlebike has had a makeover. We’ve been lucky enough to be sent the Toddlebike2 to review. Toddlebike2 The Toddlebike2 is light, easy to climb onto and easy to steer. The handlebars…

Inspired Lines with Great Western Rail

This is a collaborative post. Great Western Railway (GWR) have done some research and found that in Britain, over a third of us feel we’ve lost our creativity as adults. Fantastic Services Review

A little while ago I read a post over on Little Hearts Big Love about Fantastic Services who had done a great job of cleaning Louise’s oven. They are a one-stop shop for home services based in London. Not long afterwards, they contacted me and asked if I’d like them to clean my oven to allow me to write about it on my blog. I was delighted at the prospect of producing a Fantastic Services review. Unfortunately, we are in the middle of very slowly refurbishing our kitchen and we’re not even sure if we’ll keep the oven, so it didn’t…

I couldn’t be more delighted that half term is nearly here. As of tomorrow, we’ll have a whole week with our little school girl. We were hoping to go away but true to form we didn’t get around to booking anything, so we’ll probably just have some days out around here instead. Decorating The other thing I desperately need to get on with is decorating the house. There’s so much to do that I honestly don’t know where to start. So I’ve decided to start by painting the girls’ room. The things that really need doing are new floors downstairs and…

What if my child is a bully?

Every day I read another tragic news story about a child who has lost their life to suicide as a result of bullying. Pointless, mindless cruelty that the victim can do nothing about. What child is strong enough to stand up to big groups of children ganging up to make them feel worthless? As an adult I know what it feels like when you don’t fit in. When you walk into a room and nobody speaks to you or there are giggles and cruel comments about the way you look. It’s heartbreaking. I’m a big girl, I deal with it.…
