To teach the children how to cook,

There’s 24 new things to make,

From gingerbread mice to scrambled snake.

We had woodland salad for our tea,

With Fox’s Sandwiches for company.

We followed the steps we found with ease,

I’d recommend using pre-sliced cheese.

The book’s full of pictures and little rhymes

And food to make at different times.

From terrible teeth to make you scream

To knobbly knees and owl ice cream.

If mealtimes just don’t seem to flow

Gruffalo Growl

Little children too young to know

Have never heard of the Gruffalo.

So when they hear a scary sound

They think that Snake might be around.

But that’s not Snake it’s like a growl

Could the sound have come from Owl?

It’s not Snake or Owl or Fox or Mouse

The Gruffalo is in your house.

Little hands will love to press

And curious minds all like to guess.

So mums of tots should take a look

The Gruffalo Puppet Book

The Gruffalo puppet has terrible claws

Fox is frightened and runs with fast paws.

Owl is afraid of the Gruffalo’s wart

But you can just scratch it, who would have thought?

Snake’s all worried about a purple prickle

And leaves in a hurry and a bit of a pickle.

But little mouse is not concerned

The Gruffalo’s scared and children have learned,

That Gruffalo’s really not scary at all

So give him a hug, he’s only small.
