Thursday Photo #88
We are now well and truly back into the swing of toddler term time. Libby is at nursery every afternoon except for Mondays. This means that she’s with us in the mornings and it has been lovely to have that extra time with her.
However, I’ve always had a bit of a mental block when it comes to just spending time at home with the girls. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the down time with them. But we’d all much rather be out and about doing something.
So, we’ve been busy going out each morning. We had a lovely visit to see the animals at a little local farm park and café, went to a new gym club, went trampolining, visited family and went to playgroup.
I even met a fellow blogger at the trampolining morning. We went to Jumptastic in Gloucester and met up with Louise from Pink Pear Bear.
Jumptastic was AMAZING and I would highly recommend it for anybody who is local. It’s basically a room full of trampolines with various other fun things like foam to jump in, balls to throw and a parachute to play with.
As well as the toddler group that we went to, Jumptastic also do classes for older children and teenagers. There are even adult exercise classes. If we lived a little bit nearer, I would love to join in with those.
It was lovely to meet Louise as well. It’s the first time I’ve ever met a fellow blogger who I didn’t know before I started. I have attended numerous brand events with other bloggers, but haven’t really spoken to the bloggers much.
Louise and I had a good chat and the children went bonkers on the trampolines. That was on Monday and on Tuesday, I took the girls to junior gym in a local school hall.
Again, they both ran around like lunatics. It was lovely to see and we will definitely be back to junior gym every week and we’re trying to schedule a trip to Jumptastic once a month.
I have been quite pleased with how things have gone with my blog this week. The Tots100 rankings were released and I was really pleased with my progress, it shows that all of my hard work is paying off.
I was also honoured to be featured on Tin Box Traveller, with a guest post about my Travel Time Hop – a photo from my girly holiday in Venezuela just before I met my husband.
The only real issue I have with blogging at the moment is fitting in the time to get my blog as I want it. Donna from What the Redhead Said very kindly gave me some tips on getting my blog looking a bit better.
I’m really happy with the alterations I subsequently made, but it is very much a work in progress. I hope that somebody is going to wave a magic wand next week and I’ll have a few extra hours in the day to finish off the job I’ve started.
In the meantime, our Thursday Photo #88 was taken this evening. The girls were enjoying an ice lolly for their pudding and as a treat, they were allowed to sit and eat it in front of the TV and watch stargazing on CBeebies.
Lia isn’t quite willing to put Christmas behind her just yet. She is also very suspicious of Libby who does have a habit of taking things off her. Libby on the other hand is just posing for the camera and taking it all in her stride.
