Cutting back on salt and sugar with Tesco
I’m painfully aware of the amount of salt and sugar in processed food. Where possible, I cook from scratch. But some days, I just need something quick and easy. Tesco challenged me to cook a family favourite dish using their reduced salt and reduced sugar products. I wasn’t allowed to tell the family that anything…
Stargazing with the Forestry Commission
When I was a child, stargazing was of little interest to me. I don’t recall any lessons at school that sparked my interest, although I did find it fascinating that a friend had perfectly accurate constellations on her bedroom ceiling. This was courtesy of her incredibly clever dad and some fluorescent stickers. Stargazing in the forest…
10 family campsite essentials
Since having children, camping has become a whole different beast. When it was just us, we had no issues with pitching up in a field or on a cliff top and wild camping. With young children, our needs are a little more complex. Here are the top ten things we look for in a campsite…
Interior design tweaks to help children to sleep
[AD] This is a paid guest post. ‘Sleeping like a baby’… where did that phrase even come from? Hi there- sorry for your loss, take care
Thank you Sharon.x
So sorry to hear that 🙁 When our old dog Molly died we used to still hear her thumping up and down the stairs at my folks house for months afterwards. It felt like she was hanging on for us to not feel so sad. I know that sounds mental, but there’s something special about old dogs I think. Hope you’re ok xxx
Aw bless thanks Maz. Strange that you still heard Molly after she’d gone. Snoop was a great dog and we will all miss him, especially my mum as she has had him for the last few years.xx
