So many of my favourite memories from last summer involve being around water. From the paddling pool on the decking to building sandcastles on a beach to swimming in a lake. And on every occasion, Konfidence products have been there to keep the girls safe. So it’s a real privilege to be working with Konfidence even more this year as official Konfidence swimologists.
About Konfidence
Konfidence is a family business that makes a vast range of children’s swimming products. On a family holiday in 1996, Andy and Caroline realised that buoyancy aids were too heavy for children. They needed a solution that would keep children afloat without weighing them down on land or restricting movement. There was nothing on the market so they decided to make one themselves. In 1998, they launched the Original Konfidence Jacket.
Since then, their neoprene buoyancy jackets have helped tens of thousands of children to learn to swim and they’ve branched out into other products. We have loved trying out everything from swim jackets to wetsuits to changing mats to toys. Libby is a strong and confident swimmer now at just 4 years’ old. I’m sure that using Konfidence products has helped her on her swimming journey.
This year, we will be trying out even more new products. I’ll also be telling you all about the 2017 Golden Bucket Sand Art competition when it launches. This was by far the most fun competition we’ve taken part in, check out our entry from last year. We’ll even be heading to the Splash Landings waterpark at Alton Towers to put the Konfidence swimwear through its paces.
We’re already taking our jobs as swimologists very seriously. The girls have been wearing their Original Konfidence Swim Jackets for the beach and a boat trip. And our swimming toys come with us every week when we swim as a family. We’re particularly loving the neoprene ball. It’s soft enough to throw around the pool without getting into trouble if we hit someone. I’m sure it is giving the girls a head start with learning water polo skills.
