Family fun at Drayton Manor Park

From the bottom of the big wheel at Drayton Manor Park, I glanced over at the fast rollercoaster. There, on the front seat, was a familiar little face. Suddenly, they were off. Backwards up the track to the top of the hill. A short pause and whoosh! They accelerated past me, the tiny little figure on the front seat with her eyes closed, clutching her aunty’s hand. Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park To young children, Drayton Manor Park means Thomas Land. And in school holidays, it’s busy. There are reasonably long queues for all the rides, but they’re worth the wait. We headed…

A morning stroll around the Walled Gardens at Croome Court

The girls leant their bikes against the wall and ventured into the secret garden. It was like stepping into the Georgian era. Being transported back to a time when the produce from this expansive garden would feed everyone on the Croome Estate. The history of the Walled Gardens at Croome Court 17 years ago, a couple by the name of Chris and Karen were looking for a project. The gardener’s cottage at Croome was perfect. This is a collaborative post. The trauma of Summer holidays is often the elephant in the room among parents. The B vitamins in Berocca help to release the body’s natural energy. This is a…

We’ve been reviewing their new bath time range and you can win a hamper of them so you can try them yourself. Simplicity shampoo and body wash The simplicity range is perfect for sensitive skin. It is unscented and hypoallergenic. It is even fine for use on newborns. My girls both suffer from…

Thursday photo #171

I’ve hit the wall slightly with the Summer holidays now. It’s a bit like that feeling you get when you’re running a marathon. Around the 20 mile point from what I remember. The end is in sight. You know you’ve got to keep going because giving up is not an option. But all of a sudden it’s like swimming through treacle. Days out Despite hitting the wall myself, we’ve kept going with some fabulous days out this week. We had a brilliant day at Eastnor Castle, we’ve been swimming and had two lovely days meeting up with old friends. The girls are having a…
